"All My Days" - The Song of the Redeemed

Hey y'all!  I wanted to share a video link with y'all of a newer song of mine, previously unrecorded until Onething 2016.  The chorus, "This is the song I'll sing all my days..." was written during a spontaneous moment during a worship set in the prayer room.  Later as I sought to finish the song, the truth found in 1 Peter 2:9 took hold of me:

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."

If you believe in Christ and call upon His name, then this is your highest calling:  to declare His glory!  This is our song and our testimony. It's the song of the redeemed- out of every tribe, tongue, people and nation!

Lesley Phillips plays her song, "All My Days" during Session 4 of the Onething 2016 conference.

A little about me!

The Kansas City based worship leader and singer/songwriter has always had a song in her heart.  Even from a young age you would’ve heard her belting out anything from oldies radio and Amy Grant, to CMT.  It was early in her journey that she met Christ powerfully during a worship service.  It was the songs that stuck in her head which stirred her to seek after God.  Soon, a growing desire to lead others in that same experience surpassed all other pursuits.  Lesley studied vocal performance in college, and sought out further worship training at the International House of Prayer worship school.

Lesley serves as a worship leader at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO, where she has called home for the last 7 years.  Ultimately she desires to see the Church grow in love for Christ, and longs to inspire others to know Him through proclaiming His beauty in song.

Outside of the church four walls, Lesley and her husband work with children in foster care, and have a desire to see the fatherless come into the family of God, and for the church to walk in what Jame’s 1:27 calls "pure and undefiled religion”- looking after the widow and orphan.

What Lesley enjoys most is doing life with her best friend and husband Austin, and taking care of their small homestead, complete with dog, and 8 chickens!
